A Family-Run Yorkshire Coffee Shop & Eatery
Located at 56 Stutton Road, Tadcaster, along the parade of popular shops, is Roast — an independent, family-run Yorkshire coffee shop & eatery serving delicious, homemade food.
We are passionate about providing great tasting, locally produced, home cooked food. We support local suppliers wherever possible and pride ourselves on our hearty Yorkshire breakfasts, scrumptious Eggs Benedict and regularly rotating specials board.
During the cooler months the specials board features comforting stews and satisfying specials graced with our own thick gravy. In the warmer months the specials board features lighter, fresher dishes such as delicately spiced samosa chaat, and we provide freshly prepared ice-cream milkshakes and an array of iced and flavoured tea and coffee drinks.
We serve superb quality coffee supplied by a local supplier which is part of a network of award-winning coffee roasters in the UK, with freshly baked cakes and sausage rolls being firm favourites. We are fully licensed and partner with Fairfax, our wonderful local distillery, so that you can enjoy a beer, wine or cheeky cocktail with your meal.

Quality Coffee
Our 100% Arabica blend is grown on Fairtrade certified farms and roasted in small batches in Yorkshire — caramel and dark chocolate with subtle fruit complexity.
Breakfast
Our hearty Yorkshire breakfast is the stuff of legend, using locally sourced ingredients. Bacon sandwiches, Eggs Benedict, Belgian waffles and more.
Eat In
Kick back with a paperback, catch up with family and friends over coffee, or celebrate over brunch in our friendly, relaxed vibe popular with all generations.
Take Out
Busy lives don't mean missing out. We offer take-out across our whole menu — enjoy our food at home, at your desk, or on a picnic blanket.
